An existing Hitachi 2000 was purchased and transported to the Netherlands to be completely converted here into a 3-section boom, enabling a lifting capacity of 14 tonnes at 32 metres. The undercarriage was lengthened and widened, with additional counterweight, heavier cylinders and a new, bespoke boom/stick/arm. After testing the machine, it was fully dismantled, transported to its final destination in France and reassembled. The machine was back in operation within five days.
